Igloo Upgrade Catalog July 2011

Since the Adventure Party is coming to Club Penguin very soon, Club Penguin has released new igloos for all of us penguins ready to re-decorate our igloos. There are some epic new items on this new catalog.

Wow, I love the AWESOME Mermaid Cove. Yes, it might be a little girly, but by adding a few details, this igloo makes an excellent guy and gal igloo! The Ship igloo has an amazing deck for viewing, a plank for throwing penguins off of (not recommended), and a nice lower floor! 

• Mermaid Cove: 3030 Coins ~ Bask in the soft flow of the ocean on this luxurious undersea seat.
• Ship Igloo 4300 Coins ~ A shipskape home for seafaring pirate.

I think that this igloo is a little too extreme, but it's pretty cool! :-) I am praying that the mouth won't close though!

These new igloos look AMAZING! I can't wait to start re-decorating my igloo in an adventurous style! The best part is that you could save all of your igloos--and go back to editing them later. :-)

Hey CP i'm so glad you asked that question. The first time I logged into Club Penguin I was very young. I remember standing in the town just wondering where I should waddle off to first. Suddenly a bright blue penguin waddled up to me and said "hey you new here". I shyly said yeah how did you know. She said I looked confused. I asked where you can get the best refreshments. The blue penguin grinned and said "thats easy it's the coffee shop. When I walked into the coffee shop I knew by all the friendly faces and different people that I was perfectly safe on my new favourite site Club Penguin :D.

There are LOTS of penguins that have been awesome to me, but the penguin I would nominate is my FIRST friend on Club Penguin Penny51889. I know Penny is real life, and we are really good friends. The FIRST time I logged onto Club Penguin, I called Penny, and we both created a Club Penguin account the same day--we even became members the same day a few weeks after. We have had so many awesome memories together...sadly Penny quit a few months ago. She still occasionally logs on. Thanks buddy for being my first buddy on Club Penguin! Following Penny would be another good friend I know, Air 214. I convinced her to create a penguin--and we still waddle around Club Penguin together! :-) 

Raised Membership Prices--A Post From Billybob

Hello Penguins,

For the first time since Club Penguin started, we've decided to change the price of new memberships purchased in US and Canada. Starting on July 13th, the new price for a Club Penguin membership will be $7.95 a month, $39.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for 12 months.

The new price is only for NEW membership purchases. If you already have a recurring membership, you'll keep paying the old price as long as you stay a member. You'll also be able to use membership cards with the old price if you have them.

Ever since we launched Club Penguin, we've released tons of new games, features and special events, and donated millions of dollars to charitable projects to help kids around the globe. The new price will allow us to create even more great content that will make Club Penguin even better. We can't say too much yet, but we have some really exciting new things planned for you in the coming months!

Thanks Club Penguin for letting us know, but I think that raising the membership prices aren't going to help a lot. Less penguins are going to want to buy membership--and it won't help with getting more penguins to play Club Penguin
